We would like You to know Joe Cool. For sure You have already heard about him.. (a moment from his life). Joe Cool is a fencer of the club Oli VSC.. but he is no longer a competitor, because he is very good. In combat sports he shows his opponent no mercy.. and he can get sick he knows he beat everyone. Let’s leave this topic.
Joe is Cool, cose he is a real cool and dandy egg. Beside this he can value all his belongings. To avoid loosing any equipment he has – for the chance they get lost – he nominates them. Right, not on that way as beagles usually do.. he simple sign his name onto all pieces of his fencing equipment.
Not only onto his epée, or onto his mask.. but onto the cuff of his glove, onto the label of his underplastron, onto the bodywire, right he skip the socks. He uses permanent marker, it’s long lasting.
All these things are good, as after all he goes to a competition, and loose any of his stuff – then fair and square finders can hand them down at the desk of DT, and because of the name in them they can return easily to the owner. Shall we say he lost something at every single competition he joined.
It was sooo sticky that at the awarding ceremony along his gold medal they gave him almost every piece of his equipment. Probably that is also a fact in that he stopped competitions. But You guys, standing on pistes competition to competition, You should peek and stole Joe Cool’s technique. Then all Olimpici fencers would be this COOL.. 😉
