Right, the date of Szolnok cup, our 2nd GP of our actual season is not that sharply close to the great celebration of Christmas, but still, we can promise that all participators will be in the good, lovely mood of this incoming feast. We hope so.
We uploaded now the Invitation Letter of our incoming Grand Prix, and please have a look, if You decided to come, and have a look, if You still did not. We gonna have few changes. First of all, the location of the Minie Competitions will be separated, to allow all the events run smooth.. and be in time to get everyone for the lovely Christmas Gala on saturday evening. It’s gonna be ceremonious, and taking part of it is really recommended.
The other thing is, same with our most younger fencers – a big ATTENTION!
From the Szolnok Cup few changes apply in competition rules of Minie age-group. From the beginning competitors will be organised into more pools with less fencers in each rounds, and all the bouts will be played for FOUR HITS with the maximum of TWO MINUTES fencing time.
We do those changes because of many feedbacks in tha last season – from professionals, coaches, and parents as well. We would like to adjust all the formulas to make our competitiors more happy, and of course we’ve got some really reasonable backgrounds from our professional leaders.
We thought over about the size of weapons for the peanuts, but at once we don’t want to hassle with many-many changes, so we take action in it from the next season, to create an obligatory rule.
